Sin City - Bwin Party - Photoshop / After Effect
One of my standout projects was Sin City, a slot machine created in collaboration with legendary graphic novelist Frank Miller and Dark Horse Comics. We brought the gritty, noir world of Sin City to life by incorporating the original artwork from Miller’s graphic novel, staying true to its iconic visual style. I utilized Adobe Animate and After Effects to create fluid, dynamic animations that mirrored the raw, black-and-white intensity of the graphic novel’s aesthetic. Additionally, I used Maya to design new 3D assets and artwork, carefully crafting them to match the signature style of the Sin City universe. The challenge was ensuring the animations and visuals remained authentic to Miller's vision while also translating seamlessly into the world of interactive gaming. The result was a visually stunning, immersive slot experience that stayed true to the dark, gritty atmosphere of Sin City, while offering players an action-packed, cinematic experience.
