Human ear - Maya
Creating a realistic human ear in Maya was a challenging but rewarding process. Ears are notoriously difficult to model due to their complex, organic shape and intricate details. I started by blocking out the basic structure, carefully sculpting the contours, folds, and subtle curves that make each ear unique. I paid close attention to the way light interacts with the ear's surface, especially around the delicate cartilage and skin. The ear is an indispensable part of character creation—small but vital for achieving a truly lifelike human model. This project helped me sharpen my skills in organic modeling and reinforced the importance of capturing every detail when bringing characters to life.
